There are seventy-eight cards, which are real life photos in full color. It does not matter whether you are a shamanic practitioner, tarot enthusiast, or a novice, as this tarot is surprisingly easy to learn.
It will strengthen your connection with the animal world, help you find answers to the most perplexing questions and develop your intuition. This is not one single human image in the animal wise tarot. There is a photograph in the center of each card of an animal in its natural setting. The wide decorative borders are pink and have a phrase, which conveys the meaning of each card.
The Druid Animal Oracle Deck
Another beautifully illustrated pack of animal tarot cards, together with a paperback book. This is by Philip and Stephanie Carr-Gomm, and the book features wonderful artwork of Bill Worthington.
The Druid’s animal lore is similar to that of the Native Americans, although it is more specific to animals found in the UK. This deck is best suited to those who have some knowledge of Celtic legends, and therefore able to identify with the strength, and characteristics of the individual animals portrayed in this pack of animal tarot cards.
Australian Animal Tarot
These animal tarot cards are by Ann Williams-Fitzgerald. This deck has a wonderful assortment of beautifully painted, Australian animals, and really brings the outdoors inside. There are cuddly animals like the Koala, the mysterious Blue Ring Octopus, the splendid Orca, the dangerous Green Tree Python, the playful Australian cattle dog, the elegant peacock, the stinging scorpion and the shy rabbit, just to name a few. Each card is bordered with lavender, and conveys the spirit of an animal.
